The City marked the completion of the Tahoe Valley Stormwater and Greenbelt Improvement Project with a ribbon cutting on Sep 25. The project pairs stormwater treatment with a multipurpose trail and naturalized play structures next to The Crossing Shopping Center.
- The City describes the project as natural-systems stormwater treatment, stream environment zone restoration, flood fixes, and bike and pedestrian connections in a 320-acre drainage area around US 50 and SR 89.
- For the ceremony, the City pointed to parking near South Avenue, Barton Avenue and Helen Avenue, with entry points along the trail.
