TTD Route 50, South Shore Daily
Runs daily between the South Y Transit Center and the Kingsbury Transit Center. Stops include the Lake Tahoe Community College Mobility Hub, US 50 at Tallac Avenue (Visitor and Senior Center), US 50 at Johnson Boulevard (Safeway), the Stateline Transit Center and US 50 at Lake Parkway (Tahoe Blue Event Center). The current schedule took effect Sep 3, 2026.

Lake Link
Free, app-based, on-demand rides in 5 to 12 passenger vans. The service area runs from Round Hill, Lower Kingsbury and the casino corridor in Douglas County to Lodi Avenue in South Lake Tahoe. Book in the Lake Link app or by phone.

Tahoe Valley Greenbelt
Completed in September 2026: a multipurpose trail through restored stormwater areas south and east of the Y, with naturalized play structures next to The Crossing Shopping Center. The trail has several entry points.

Bijou Park Connector Trail to Bijou Community Park
Opened in June 2026, the connector links to the Al Tahoe Mobility Project trails and the Dennis T. Machida Memorial Greenway. Bijou Community Park has a bike park, a fenced dog park, a disc golf course, a skate park, volleyball courts, two covered gazebos, a historic railroad exhibit and restrooms.

Pope-Baldwin Bike Path
The Forest Service notes Pope Beach is easy to reach by bike on this path. Pope and Baldwin beaches close for the season Oct 12.
